Okpala Leads Men's Hoops Past Rhodes

Ransom Okpala poured in 29 points and the 'Roos knocked down 17-of-29 three pointers as Austin College topped Rhodes College 91-86 on Saturday afternoon in Memphis. The 'Roos improve to 4-3 with the win.

Okpala hit 10-of-18 shots overall and 5-of-8 from long range and added four steals in the victory. Jeremy Swisher was 5-of-7 from three point range and finished with 17, and Brian Baehl joined them in double-digits with 10 points and added three assists.

Also reaching double figures in the scoring column were Alan Sullivan, who made 4-of-6 overall and 2-of-3 from deep to score 11, and Jordan Hancock, who had 10 points and a team-best six assists. The 'Roos shot 56.2% overall and 80% from the free throw line to go along with their outstanding effort from beyond the arc.
