'Roo Men's Hoops Edged by Dallas

The Austin College men's basketball team got 27 points from Walter Phillips but it was not enough as the 'Roos fell 82-78 at the University of Dallas on Saturday. The 'Roos are now 6-18 overall this season.

Phillips hit 10-of-14 field goals and 3-of-3 three pointers on his way to 27 points and added six rebounds, and Jordan Hancock scored 18 in the loss. Ransom Okpala added 15 points and handed out five assists as the 'Roos shot 47.4% from both the field and three point range and hit 15-of-18 free throws, but the Crusaders forced them into 16 turnovers and shot 50% from the field.
