The Austin College men's basketball team fell 71-65 at Hendrix on Saturday despite 17 points from Antoine Thompson and 14 apiece from Alvin and Alen Michael. The 'Roos are now 1-9 overall this season with the loss.
The 'Roos trailed by just two points with under two minutes left, but the Warriors pulled away down the stretch to hand Austin College the loss. Thompson came off the bench to score 17 points and added seven rebounds and Alvin Michael had a career game, making all six of his field goal attempts to finish with 14 points while adding eight rebounds and five blocks. Alen Michael made 4-of-6 shots and added four rebounds and four assists to go along with his 14 points.
