'Roo Men's Hoops Falls to Colorado College

The Austin College men's basketball team hung with Colorado College for much of the game, but the 'Roos shot just 28% in the second half as the Tigers pulled away and handed them a 71-56 loss on Saturday. The 'Roos are now 1-8 overall and 0-4 in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play.

The 'Roos knocked down four first half three pointers to head into the locker room trailing just 40-34, but hit just 7-of-25 attempts from the field after the break. Walter Phillips scored 12 points and grabbed six rebounds to lead the 'Roos offensively and Alen Michael added 10 points and five boards. Kevin Graham came off the bench to connect on 2-of-3 threes on his way to eight points and four rebounds.
