Baker Field provides a great home to the 'Roo baseball team. The field is located just north of Apple Stadium. In 2007 the stands and dugouts were completely reconstructed with the addition of a full media pressbox and video deck. In 2012 the playing surface was the focus for upgrades to the facility. The pitchers mound, homeplate area, and infield surface were reconstructed with professional grade clay, along with the addition of new out of play fencing down the left field line. The most notable upgrade for the 2013 season will be new NCAA level lighting that will take the place of the existing lights and poles. When the 2013 season begins, Baker Field will be one of the premier baseball locations in all of Division III, let alone the SCAC.
