'Roo Baseball Eliminated from SCAC Postseason

SAN ANTONIO, Texas - The Austin College baseball team fell 19-0 to defending national champion Trinity University on Friday night, eliminating the 'Roos from contention for the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference tournament.

Trinity jumped on top early, plating five runs in the first inning and adding two more in both the second and third innings to take a 9-0 lead. The margin grew to 15-0 in the fourth, when six more runs came across for the Tigers. Trinity would add one more in the fifth, and three in the sixth as the game ended after seven innings via the 10-run rule.

Austin College was no-hit by Trinity pitcher Dylan McGee in the game, while Josh Lewis took the loss for the 'Roos after surrendering nine runs (seven earned) on nine hits in 2.0 innings of work.
