SHERMAN, Texas – After winning twice yesterday, the Austin College baseball team was unable to complete a series sweep over the University of Dallas as the Crusaders handed the 'Roos a 14-3 loss on Sunday afternoon at Baker Field. Austin Dudley knocked in a run in the bottom of the second to cut the margin to 4-2 but the Crusaders got a two-run homer from Brice Cell in the third to go on top 6-2.

A trio of unearned runs in the fourth extended the Dallas lead to 9-2, and three more runs came across in the fifth to make it a 12-2 game. The Crusaders would score twice more in the sixth to make it a 14-2 game before Austin College got a run back in the seventh on a sacrifice fly by Justin Alphonse to make it a 14-3 final.
