In game one, Austin College got off to a strong start with a two-run homer by Brett Taff in the bottom of the first to go on top 2-0. LeTourneau responded with a run in the second, and the score remained 2-1 until the top of the fifth. That's when the Jackets would plate four runs to go on top 5-2, with a two run double by Gonzalo Sosa highlighting the inning for LeTourneau.

The Jackets would add two more runs in the sixth on a two-run home run by Kyle Jacobs, and Austin College was unable to mount a comeback. Taff went 1-for-3 as the 'Roos were held to just three hits by LeTourneau pitcher Andrew Harlan, who went the distance to earn the win.

The Jackets jumped out to a 4-0 lead in game two, with Noah Mahoney launching a three-run homer to highlight a four run second. Austin College answered back with two runs in the bottom half of the inning, with Oscar Gonzalez bringing home a pair of runs with a single to the gap. Austin College had a chance to win it in the bottom of the eighth, but James Wyche was thrown out at the plate after trying to score from first on a single to right field. However, the 'Roos would load the bases in the ninth, and Thomas Oberg singled up the middle to score Bennett Reagan and end the game.
