The Austin College baseball team fell in a pair of games in Shawnee, Oklahoma against Dallas Christian and Oklahoma Baptist on Saturday. The 'Roos fell 4-2 against DCC and 5-4 against Oklahoma Baptist.

In the first game of the day against Dallas Christian, the 'Roos found themselves in a 2-0 hole after three innings, before a Todd Takabuki triple brought home a run in the top of the fourth to make it a 2-1 game. DCC tacked on two more runs in the fifth to make it 4-2, but a Takabuki RBI single scored Will Schommer to make it a 4-2 game. However, that's as close as Austin College would get.

Takabuki finished the game going 3-for-3 to lead the 'Roos, while Blaine Tew absorbed the loss after surrendering four runs on seven hits. Tew also had five strikeouts in 5.0 innings of work.

In the second game of the day against Oklahoma Baptist, the Bisons plated four runs in the bottom of the third before Austin College answered back with a four run sixth inning to square things up. James Arguello and Chance Hatchel each drove in a run during the rally, with two more runs coming home by way of throwing errors.

However, OBU would load the bases with two outs and draw a bases loaded walk in the bottom of the seventh to earn a 5-4 walk-off victory. Gus Daniel went 2-for-3 to pace Austin College offensively, while Marshall Korn took the loss, going 1.2 innings in relief and surrendering one unearned run with no hits, with three walks issued.
