LeTourneau scored six runs in the first two innings and the Austin College baseball team was unable to overcome the early deficit, falling 12-8 on Tuesday evening in Longview. The 'Roos are now 3-12 overall this season.
The 'Roos pulled to within two runs at 8-6 after a three run sixth inning, but LeTourneau answered with three more runs to put the game out of reach. Austin Vaughan went 3-for-6 with a double and two runs scored, Austin Molinaro went 2-for-4 with an RBI and Tyler Appelquist went 1-for-4 with two RBI and also scored twice for the 'Roos.
Andy Renz took the loss, surrendering three runs on three hits with a walk in the top of the first inning.
