SHERMAN, Texas - Austin College athletics is excited to announce the Modern Woodmen of America Student-Athlete of the Week, an award highlighting our great student-athletes on and off the field of play each week. This week's honoree is 'Roo volleyball player Chloe Miller.
Miller, a sophomore defensive specialist from Plano, helped the 'Roos start the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference portion of their schedule strong as Austin College went 3-1 over the weekend. Miller's best performance of the weekend came in the team's biggest victory so far this year, as the 'Roos upset No. 20-ranked Colorado College in five sets. It was the team's first win over the Tigers since the 2012 season. Miller had a career-best 35 digs in the victory, and added four assists.
