The Austin College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee will be conducting a water drive beginning this weekend in an effort to collect bottled water for Grand Central Station, a Sherman organization whose mission is to provide for those in need in the community.
Starting with the home men's water polo games on Saturday, members of the SAAC will be collecting donations of cases of bottled water during both the 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. games at a table set up in the Mason Complex lobby. The SAAC will also set up for the swimming and diving team's next home meet, which is set for Friday, November 15 at 5:45 p.m. Those who would like to contribute to this effort should bring their cases of 16-ounce bottled water during those events.
