We hope you all had a great Thanksgiving Break this past week, #RooNation. Now it is time to buckle down and finish the semester off strong with Final Exams coming next week.
While you were away, history was made in Women’s Basketball, and we have several home contests to preview that should serve as a great study break for you in this last weekend. This is the AC Athletics Update.
Women’s Basketball
Our top story from the past ten days is Women’s Basketball defeating #14 UT-Dallas in a thriller at home on Saturday. This was the first victory over the Comets since 2012, and earned our Kangaroos their first National Ranking in the history of D3Hoops.com.
Austin College is now the #19 Team in the Nation, and will face Millsaps College at home on Friday, November 30th, before traveling to Memphis to take on the Rhodes College Lynx. Good luck, ‘Roos. We are very proud of you!

Men’s Basketball
Our Men’s Basketball Team fell at LeTourneau on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, 108-69. The defeat drops the Kangaroos to 2-3 on the season, with a great bounce-back opportunity against Millsaps on the schedule this weekend.
The matchup against the Majors will be in Hughey Gymnasium at 8:00PM this Friday, November 30th, and will be the last opportunity to see the ‘Roos play before the Holiday Break. So put down your books, close your laptops, and spend the evening with AC Men’s Basketball one last time before you have to follow them exclusively on social media.

Men’s and Women’s Swimming & Diving
The last opportunity of 2018 and the only opportunity this December to see your Kangaroos hit the water in a dual meet is this Saturday, December 1st. The meet against McMurry is the second to last meet in Hannah Natatorium this season, and it’s the only AC Athletics competition on Saturday.
AC dominated the first meeting in October on the road 130-84 in the Men’s events, and 160-39 in the Women’s, so come down to the pool and watch our Kangaroos battle the Warhawks in a rematch at 1:00PM.

#19 Women’s Basketball and Men’s Basketball host the Majors from Jackson, MS on Friday, followed by ‘Roos vs. Warhawks in the pool on Saturday.
