COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Austin College men's and women's tennis teams will get underway at the 2018 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships hosted by Colorado College on Friday afternoon, with both teams entering the tournament as the No. 3-seed.

The Austin College men will open up the tournament at 2:30 PM (MDT) against No. 6-seed Texas Lutheran, with the winner advancing to face either No. 2-seed Trinity or No. 7-seed Centenary at 12:30 PM on Saturday in the conference semifinals. 

On the women's side, the 'Roos take on No. 6-seed Schreiner at 5:30 PM (MDT) tomorrow, with that match's winner moving on to face No. 2-seed Southwestern, which received a first round bye. That match would take place at 3:30 PM on Saturday afternoon.

Due to inclement weather expected in Colorado Springs over the course of the weekend, all matches will be played indoors. The women will play Schreiner at Air Force Academy, while the men will compete on Friday at the Country Club at Woodmoor.
