We hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving over the long weekend, #RooNation. If you have not started already, it’s now time to buckle down for the final push to final exams.
If you are looking for a study break, we will have two home Basketball games this week for you to attend. And after we recap the previous week, we will tell you when those home games are in this installment of the Austin College Athletics Update!
Women’s Basketball
In two close contests, the Kangaroos fell to Texas-Dallas and Hendrix College by a combined deficit of 12 points.
The ‘Roos move to 2-4 (0-0 SCAC) on the season with road contests in St. Louis, Missouri as part of the McWilliams Classic. So make sure to wish your Women’s Basketball Team good luck before they leave to take on the Sagehens of Pomona Pitzer and any other teams unfortunate enough to cross Austin College’s competitive path.

Men’s Basketball
Over the Holiday Weekend, the ‘Roos completed a “season sweep” of the Hendrix College Warriors, prevailing 96-84 on the road in Conway, Arkansas.
The victory yesterday brings the Kangaroos to 2-3 (0-0 SCAC) on the season with a rematch against LeTourneau scheduled for today, 11/27 in Hughey Gymnasium at 7:00PM. Come pack the stands and help the Austin College take down the Yellow Jackets.

Men’s and Women’s Swimming & Diving
The Swim & Dive teams will travel to Abilene, TX for a dual meet against McMurry. The competition will serve as the ‘Roos final preparation for their winter training trip in Sarasota, Florida. Make sure with wish a Swimmer and a Diver good luck before they leave this week.
