Josh Lewis, a senior pitcher from Rowlett, had one of the best games of his career in a 7-0 win over Dallas Christian last week for the 'Roo baseball team. The right-hander threw a complete game shutout to lead Austin College to victory.

Lewis, who currently leads the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference with a 0.73 earned-run-average after the first few weeks of the season, went the distance with 7.0 strong innings of work against DCC to improve to 2-0 on the year. The senior struck out 10 batters without issuing any walks, and scattered just two hits in a dominant performance.

Lewis was named the SCAC Pitcher of the Week for his outstanding work on the mound.
