Bryce Frank, a sophomore forward on the Kangaroo women's basketball team, has gotten off to a tremendous start in the 2016-17 season. The 6-foot-2 post player is averaging close to a double-double as Austin College has opened the year with a record of 3-2.

Frank, last year's Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Newcomer of the Year, has averaged 18.4 points and 9.2 rebounds per game through the first five games of the season, and last week was named the conference's first Player of the Week for 2016-17. Frank is also shooting 59.7% from the field and dishing out 2.8 assists per game while coming away with 2.0 steals per game.

Frank currently leads Austin College in scoring, rebounding, field goal percentage, and steals, and is second on the team in assists.
